Bloomington Roller Derby FAQs

Founded in 2021 to bring roller derby to Bloomington, Indiana and neighboring communities, Bloomington Roller Derby is a non-profit skater owned roller derby league. We are not currently a WFTDA-member league, but we play under WFTDA rule set to provide a safe, competitive, and standardized roller derby experience. We welcome skaters, officials, volunteers and fans of all skill levels to join us—whether you’re looking to play, support, or just enjoy the action on the track!
Our team approx. has 35 members including skaters, coaches, and NSOs (non-skating officials), governed by a skater-run Board of Directors.
